Every Year the festival of Diwali is celebrated with great pomp and splendour in the country along with the traditional norms and customs. Months before the Diwali festival, children as well as elders have only one question in their minds – when is Diwali. The festival of Diwali falls on the 15th day of the dark fortnight of the auspicious Hindu month called Kartik, which coincides with the month of October/November in the English Calendar.
